Beloved husband of Margaret Gerstner (nee Larkin); loving father of Heather (Nick) Fuse, Adrienne Gerstner, Ryan Gerstner and Joseph Gerstner; cherished grandfather of Bailey, Avary, Graycyn, Reagan, Brady, Liam, Gwen, Kiley, Jameson and great-grandfather of Ivan and Freya; dear brother of Clifford (Linda) Gerstner, Nancy Mickel, Kathy (Jerry) Billington, Susie (Stan) Walls and the late Mary Ann Limberg, Oscar “Buddy” Gerstner, Jr., Francie Jerls and James Gerstner.
Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Tuesday, August 1, 9:30 am to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, at 10:00 am. Interment with honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to https://theheadstrongproject.org/ greatly appreciated. Visitation Monday 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
We will always cherish all the fun, wonderful, and touching memories we have sheared together. Jerry was a real joy to be with.
We pray that Peggy and the family will feel Gods loving arms around them during this time of need. May Jerry rest In Peace.

Dear Peggy, I will always remember you, Jerry ,girls and boys as really good friends and neighbors across the alley of Carol and I at 7119 South Grand Ave. Those were some of the good times of the late 70’s and 80’s in that neighborhood. Thanks for the memories.

I just found out today about Gerry passing. I worked with him at Climate. I have some really good memories working with him. He was really a good guy. We use to talk about racing cars. My condolences to the family. I will say a prayer tonight.
I found out about this the hard way– on Facebook. Heather, Adrienne, Ryan, and Joe , your dad was always kind to me when I saw him if I came to visit you guys when we were younger. May he rest in peace.
