Dear daughter of Tracy and the late Daniel Girse; dear sister of Ryan Girse; dear granddaughter Barbara Maugeri and the late Roger and Marilyn Girse; dear niece of Mike and Patty, Michelle and Eric, Tim and Donna, Roger and Theresa and Toni; dear Goddaughter of Lenise Shannon and Jeff Gaona; our dear cousin, friend and bright light to everyone she met.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Southview and to Taylor’s nurses Ginna and Michelle.

Services: Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Thursday, August 25, 11:00 a.m. Contributions to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation (www.rettsyndrome.org). Visitation Wednesday, 4-9 p.m.

    I am soo sorry to hear about Taylor. I know that she is in heaven with her dad, walking, running, talking, laughing, etc with Dan and her grandparents. I’m glad that you and Ryan had the time with her that you had. She will truly be missed by both of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
