Gary Gobble, who was 54, passed away on September 2, 2024. Born on April 19, 1970 in St. Louis, MO, he lived a full and vibrant life.
Gary Gobble was known for his ability to disarm you with a smile or a laugh. His love of Jesus, family, friends and his wife, will be the way most will remember him. He was a kind and encouraging mentor, both in business, the way he lived his life, and with the lung transplant mentor program at Barnes Jewish Hospital where he received a double lung transplant for Cystic Fibrosis 22 years ago. It was through that mentoring program where he met the love of his life, Carrie. His goals for his professional life were achieved with being managing partner in his own business, GS Advisors + CPA’s LLC, where he and his business partner were intentionally focused on excellent client service and he was a devoted and trusting advisor to clients and employees. He leaves behind his wife Carrie Gobble (nee Serati), beloved parents Doryce and C. Dewayne Gobble (nee Katinsky), adoring sister, Sharon (Jim) Butler, niece and nephew Alex and Reagan Butler, and numerous loving aunts and uncles and cousins. Also, his beloved mother and father in law Martha and Jim Serati, mother in law Hope Kirby (nee Wright), brother in law Jason (Kara) Serati and niece and nephew Abby and Jacob Serati. Gary will be missed dearly by many family members and loved ones who joined him by his marriage to Carrie. These include grandma Joan Serati, grandma Marcia Wright and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. As well as countless friends and clients who were like family to him.
SERVICES: A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123). Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the same location. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.
In his memory, donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or simply remember him by registering to be an organ donor.
We will always cherish the moments we had with Gary Gobble and carry his love and memory with us.
Gary ~ Godspeed on your journey to the angels!
