Godat

In Loving Memory

Godat, Dave T.

Monday, February 27, 2023.

Beloved husband of Julie Godat (nee Ripper); loving father of Melissa Godat, David Godat and the late Kurtis Godat; dear son-in-law of the late Joseph and Joan Ripper. Our dearest relative and friend to many.

Dave was born in St.Louis Missouri, grew up in Fenton and graduated from Eureka High School.
He met his wife Julie in January of 1988 and were married June 1,1991. He had three children, Melissa, David, and Kurtis and raised his family in Fenton. They resided in Fenton until the passing of his late son Kurtis in 2016. He and his wife moved to Union, Missouri where they resided until his passing.
Dave enjoyed visiting his property where he loved to hunt, fish, float the river and ride his side by side. He was skilled at many trades including; electric, plumbing, HVAC, automotive, landscaping, arbory, and gardening. He was a Jack of all trades.
We are comforted to know he is reunited with his son Kurtis. He will be missed dearly by his wife, children, and friends.
