Born on July 1, 1946, Stephen was the son of James Filmore and Esther Ophelia (Costner) Golden.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn (Prenger) Golden, three sons: Stephen Douglas “Doug” Jr.,o Robert “Bob” (Rinku), and Brian; Three grandchildren: Brendan Golden, Katie Smith (Matthew), and Kellie Golden; and three great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Roberta Kopp, and Jean (Worrall) Golden, wife of nine years.
SERVICES: A public visitation is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Saturday, Aug 22, at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road in Affton, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 noon. Memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s St. Louis or Society of St. Vincent de Paul St. Louis.
