In Loving Memory

Graham, Doris M. (nee Prevano)

July 23, 1933 - September 19, 2025

Doris M. Graham, of Affton, MO, passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late William M. Graham, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage before his passing in 2011.

Doris was a loving wife and a devoted mother to her two daughters, Gayle and Gwen. She dedicated her life to caring for them until their passing.

Born to Joseph and Dorothy Prenavo, Doris was the cherished sister of the late Raymond (Betty) Prenavo. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend who will be remembered for her kindness and love.

She shared a special bond with her nephews and their wives, Jerry (Carole) and Timothy (Christy) Lux, who lovingly cared for her during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made to Christ Memorial Lutheran Church are greatly appreciated.

SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Thursday, September 25th, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery.

  1. Doris was a wonderful friend. She and my mom, Helen Pagano, were friends since high school. The two of them, Maggie Weingardt, Toni Kohler, and Carol formed a close relationship and called themselves, “The Cats.”

Doris was a wonderful role model for all mothers, especially for mothers of children with special needs. Doris and Bill devoted their lives to taking care of Gayle and Gwen. I know she is much happier now, in heaven with everyone.

    Love you, Doris,
    Pam and Rod Obradovic

  3. I had the pleasure in her last few month to spend time with her as a carer volunteer. It was apparent she truly loved and missed her husband ,daughters, brother, and many dear friends. I expect she is in Heaven surrounded by peace and love. Please accept my condolences.
