Angelo died in his sleep, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Sunday, October 15, 2017.

He was born on January 12, 1924 in St. Louis, MO, to Angelo and Caroline Grassi.  He served in the United States Air Corps. during World War II.  Graduate of Southwest High School and member of the St. Louis Bocce Club.

Beloved husband of the late Eda (Bortolot) Grassi for 64 years. They set the foundation for our strong, loving families.  Loving father of three daughters, Linda (Ron Ustruck, Deborah (Paul) Dow and Barbara (Mario) Pandolfo; loving grandfather (PawPaw) to seven, Christopher (Simeon) Ustruck, Amy  (Stewart) Marcell, Matthew (Rachael) Ustruck, Alex (Anjuli) Dow, Bryan (Michelle) Dow, Scott Dow (Matthew Hashimoto) and  Mario (Samantha) Pandolfo; great PawPaw to fifteen, Zachary, Naasson and Brandt Crowell, Jack, Logan, Madeleine, Abigail and Rhett Ustruck, Lauren Marecell, Aiden and Owen Ustruck, Divya, Leonardo and Avni Dow, Mason and baby brother Dow; loving brother to the late Charles (Cesarine), Joseph (Dolly) Grassi and Henry (Francis) Grassi; brother-in-law to the late  Savina (Bortolot) Porta and Charles Porta; loving uncle with  particular closeness to niece Carol (Grassi) Rancillio and  nephews Curt, Matthew and Tom Grassi.
