Joyce Green

In Loving Memory

Green, Joyce Ann (nee Liput)

October 15, 1945 - July 19, 2026

Passed away on Sunday, July 19th, 2026.

Beloved mother of Donna Green, Ron (Rhonda) Green, and the late Dave and Steve Green; adoring grandmother of Tom Coleman, Danielle Green, Brianna Whitmore, Noah Green, Jessi (Josh) Green, and Taylor (Storm) Green; cherished great grandmother of 11; dearest daughter of the late Adam and Lottie Liput; loving sister of Elizabeth Eichhorn and the late Frank Liput, Stanley Liput, and Tina (Mike) West; our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Our mom was one of a kind. She was strong, determined, and never afraid to do things her own way. If she believed in something, she stood her ground, and that strength carried her through life’s greatest joys and deepest heartbreaks.

As a single mother, she worked for Southwestern Bell and later AT&T for more than 30 years while raising her four children. She taught us the value of hard work, perseverance, and always doing what needed to be done. Although life was not always easy, she gave her family everything she had.

The losses of her oldest son, Dave, in 2005 and her second oldest son, Steve, in 2019 changed her forever. A mother’s love never fades, and she carried them in her heart every day for the rest of her life.

When football season arrived, you could always count on her cheering for her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. More than anything, she loved her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the greatest part of her life and the legacy she leaves behind.

We will miss her strength, her determination, and the unconditional love she gave in her own unique way. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing she is finally at peace and reunited with the sons she missed so deeply. She will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

SERVICES: Visitation will be held at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Friday, July 24th, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Condolences
