Peggy Greene

In Loving Memory

Greene, Peggy Ann (nee Patterson)

August 19, 1935 - August 12, 2023

Peggy Ann Greene (nee Patterson), loving wife of the late Daryle Greene, passed away peacefully on 8/12/23 a week before her 88th birthday.  She is survived by her 4 children: Steve (Erma) Greene, Terri (Ed) Tichy, Lisa (Dick) Roseland and Janet (Tom) Zeloski.  She had 9 grandchildren: Jared and Kaitlin (Ryan) Greene; Derek (Claire), Justin (Melissa), and Alex (Melissa) Tichy; Todd (Ellen) and Brett Roseland; and Karly (Cody) Miller and Blake Zeloski (fiancé Diana); and 9 great-grandchildren: Charlotte and Maddie Tichy, Jackson and Charlie Tichy,  Lyla and JoJo Tichy; Nora and Jack Roseland; and Lennox Miller.
She married her childhood sweetheart, Daryle, and raised her family in a loving home.  They enjoyed traveling the world, square dancing, giving back to others through their church and various charities.  She was a sweet, wonderful mother, Memaw, GiGi, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.  Her faith was central to her life, and she served in various capacities in her local United Methodist Women’s group, was involved in PEO for nearly 30 years, sang in her church choir, and served as a Stephen Minister assisting others through difficult times.
After a private family burial, there will be a celebration of her life on Saturday 8/19/23 at 11:00 a.m. at Webster Hills United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow.  The family would like to thank Mercy Hospice and Friendship Village for caring for her in her most challenging days, as well as Kutis Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to World Bird Sanctuary, Alzheimer’s Association or your favorite charity in her name.
