Passed away on Thursday, June 18th, 2026.
Beloved father of Tiffany (Ernesto) Ros, Tyler (Fran) Baker, David Grimes, and Kayla Grimes; grandfather of Javier and Isabella Ros; dearest son of the late William Grimes Sr. and Linda Grimes (nee Koch); loving brother of Deborah Saputo and Danny (Cyndi) Spratley; cherished uncle of Summer (Marcus) Montgomery and Tyler Spratley; dear great uncle of Dominic and Nico Montgomery; our dear cousin and friend to many.
William (Bill) was a man who truly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He had a passion for race cars and drag racing, always finding excitement in the roar of an engine and the thrill of competition. Whether he was at the track, gathered around a barbecue grill with family and friends, or spending time camping outdoors, William found joy in the moments that brought people together.
He will be remembered for his love of adventure, his appreciation for good food and good company, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His presence, laughter, and the stories he shared will be deeply missed.
Though William’s time with us was far too short, the memories he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who loved him.

SERVICES: Visitation will be held at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Saturday, June 27th, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with Memorial Service beginning at 1:00 PM.
Followed by a Celebration of Bill’s Life at Royale Orleans 2801 Telegraph Rd, St. Louis, MO, 63125 at 3pm.
