Mary Ann joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven on November 1st, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1938 to August and Josephine (nee Heet) Rumping in St. Louis. Beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Haberberger; dear mother of Mark (Laura) Haberberger, Neil (Cindy) Haberberger, Jo Ann (the late Michael) Powers, Karen (Dave) Walther, Steve (Lynda) Haberberger, Lisa (Gerald) Appelbaum, and Jean (Matt) Bergeson; dear grandmother to Joseph (Jamie), Jeff (Haleigh), Kristin (Luke), Kevin (Katie), Samuel (Marika), Lydia (Michael), Grace, Luke (Thea), Julia (Andrew), Christopher (Kayla), Steven (Becky), Angela (Anthony), Benjamin (Jessica), Timothy, Jacob, Sean, Joshua (Asia), Nathan (Sarah), Tessa, and May (Jared); dear great-grandmother of Payton, Easton, Mason, Quinn, Brooks, Mckinnon, Otis, Evelynn, August, Myla, Silas, Ezra, Sophia, Owen, Katie, Steven, Bradley, Annabelle, Alexander, Abigail, Kenzie, Camden, Elias, and Inge. Preceded in death by her siblings William (Anna), Frank (Shirley), and Robert (Carol) Rumping, dear sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.

In 1972, she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior during a storm on Table Rock Lake. She spent her life sharing the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, serving and ministering to others, leading and hosting prayer groups, and cooking with love for her family, friends, and many in need around the world.

Services: Visitation and service at Southgate Church (9820 East Watson Rd, 63126.) Visitation to be held on Thursday, November 7th, 4 to 8 p.m., and worship service at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 8th. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Southgate Church or Gather the Nations (gatherthenations.org), a Christian ministry using music to gather the nations, share the gospel, and prepare the way for Jesus’ return.  The music of their founder, Joshua Aaron, brought much peace and comfort to Mary Ann during the last few years of her life.   2. Mrs Haberberger was the best mom and kindest person I’ve ever known. God bless everyone who will miss her, but will remember her lovingly forever.

  3. She will always be remembered by me. In the late 70’s I was baptized again in their backyard pool. She threw a baby shower for my 4th child in 1980. She is truly a saint in heaven.
