Bill Hahn, born William George Hahn, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025.

 

Born on December 29, 1942, Bill lived a life marked by family, perseverance, and joy. His life was deeply shaped by those he loved, including the many friends who filled his years with laughter and companionship.

 

He served honorably in the United States Army and was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Hahn, whose passing in 2014 profoundly affected the course of his later years.

 

Bill is survived by his children, Scott (Michelle) Hahn, Heather Cottner, and Todd “TJ” (Jennifer) Hahn, and by his sister, Jacqueline Pell, and grandchildren Gage, Noah, Logan, Liam and Hudson as well as extended family members.

 

The family extends sincere thanks to the caregivers, nursing staff, and hospice professionals who supported Bill with compassion and dignity.

 

SERVICES:  Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Road Affton, Missouri 63123) on Friday, January 2, 11:00 a.m. until funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment Sunset Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes quiet remembrances in his honor.

 

William will be remembered for the life he lived and the place he holds in the hearts of his family.

  1. Sheri and I are very sorry for another loss in the family. We will not be able to attend his funeral as we live in Southern Alabama near the gulf coast. Seems there are only 4 first cousins left, Jackie Pell, Kathy McMahon Walker, Kevin McMahon, and myself.

  2. Scott, Heather & Tj, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a good man. It has been many years since we were neighbors but the memories come back as if it was yesterday. I can picture him walking home from the bus stop carrying his coffee& reading the newspaper. Always with a friendly smile & wave hello. From my family to yours, please accept our condolences.
