Passed away on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026.
Beloved husband of Dianne Halbrook (nee Crum); dear stepfather of Stacey Meyer and Jason Schweffermann; cherished grandfather of Jeffery Schweffermann and Samantha Meyer; adored son of the late Jack and Estelle Halbrook (nee Dailey); loving brother of Angie (the late Hal) Deane; our dear uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.
Jerry’s life was defined by his deep love for his family. He cherished every moment with his wife, Dianne. His family was the center of his world. His gentle spirit, his great sense of humor, quick wit, and steadfast devotion will be missed by all who knew him.
The family requests that in place of flowers, donations be made to The American Heart Association.
SERVICES: Memorial visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Friday, May 8th, 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, until memorial service begins at 1:30 PM. Inurnment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
