Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Thursday, June 29, 2017.  Beloved husband of 40 years to the late Joyce (Cookson); loving father to Michael (Mary), Kevin (Cynthia) Hale, Kelly (Glennon) Murphy, Marsha (Michael) Schmidt and the late Cynthia Hale; grandfather to Bradford, Brittany, Angie, Alex, Shannon, Dennis, Thomas, and the late Michael, Jr.; great-grandfather to Aaron, Paige and  Carson; brother to the late Betty Feldman and the late James Wakeman; brother-in-law to the late Alan (Jewel), the late Noel (surviving Ida) Cookson  and the late Elizabeth (Leo) Fruin; friend to all.

   Army Veteran of the Korean War, retired from Reliable Life Insurance Company (53 years), member of the Affton Elks Lodge #2635, St. Martin of Tours 50 Plus Club, Men’s Club and Athletic Association. 

   Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Monday, July 3, 9:30 a.m. to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Martin of Tours,  appreciated.  Visitation Sunday, 4-9 p.m.
