Hamilton, Gerald Edward “Jerry” Sr.

 

Hamilton, Gerald Edward “Jerry” Sr. passed suddenly Saturday,  October 20, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Sue; children: Daniel (Mayde), Steve (Renee),  Jerry Jr. (Dianne), Rob (Krista), and Lisa. He was preceded in death by his daughter Catherine. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Brooke, Marissa, Derek, Megan, Julie, Jeramy, Eric, Liz, and Arica, as well as great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Bob (Joan) Hamilton, and Jim (Lyne) Hamilton.

Jerry retired from the Boeing Company in 2014, after 44 years of service. He also worked 12 years for Missouri Pacific Railroad.  He had a great love of learning and taught as an adjunct  professor  at UMSL for 19 years, Webster University for 8 years, and also Columbia College. He was a true scholar.

Services: Visitation will be held at  KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY  CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Saturday, November 3, from 10 a.m. until the time of service 12 noon, with services concluding at Kutis. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Pancreatic  Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Ste 200,  Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, or the American Heart  Association, Attention  Memorial/Tribute Processing Center, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674
