July 11, 1929 - December 29, 2023

Lafon Hart (nee: Wardlow), 94, of St. Louis, MO passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023, at the Delmar Gardens Meramec Valley Nursing Home.

Lafon was married to Robert L. Hart in 1949 until his death in 2013. She was an active member of Southside Church of God.

Lafon was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2013. She is survived by two children, Robert A. (Patricia) Hart, Kathleen S. (James) Thurmond; five grandchildren; Matthew Hart, Samantha (Griffin) Turnquist, Kyle Griffin, Bailey Clawson and Austin Thurmond; nine great grandchildren Sage, Clara, Mason and Carson Hart; Kale and Kash Griffin; Lewis Turnquist, and Reed and Canon Clawson. She also has two great-great-grandchildren due in January.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129), Thursday, January 4 at 9:30 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-9 p.m.

    Aunt Lafon, you will be missed so much by your friends and relatives here on earth, but we also know that you are at peace with your loved ones above.
