Linda-Hartmann

In Loving Memory

Hartmann, Linda L.

Hartmann, Linda, passed away peacefully at home with her children on Friday, April 16, 2021. Linda was the beloved wife, partner, and best friend of the late Donald O. Hartmann Sr. She was the loving mother of Kimberly (Mark) Mosley, Donald Jr. (Diana Somogyi), Jacqueline  (Raymond III) Cordes, and Michele (Scott) Lively. Linda was also the proud MeMe of Amber (Tyler), Matthew, Daniel (Desiree), Hannah, Jacob, Raymond IV, Ashton, Kasey, Ryan, Rolen, the late Tyler; Great MeMe of Lucas and Aria; and dear sister to Bill (Jan) Sparks. Linda put her family before all else and she was a warm and loving mother. She cherished her role as MeMe and treasured her grand and great-grandchildren, embracing every moment with them. She felt honored to serve her church, community, and children everywhere. Linda made people feel special everywhere she went and was a MeMe to all.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Mid-America Transplant (part of the Donate Life America Network) would be appreciated.

Services: The family will receive friends and neighbors at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129, Sunday, April 25, 2021, 12-4 pm with a short Celebration of Life at 4 pm. A burial service and life celebration will be held at St. Lucas UCC at a future date.

  3. Linda, you will be missed by so many. I loved seeing your smiling face at St. Lucas and you helped me feel welcomed. You were always so kind to our boys when we lived down the street. Don has many funny memories from his youth and being at your house with your Don. I’ll miss seeing that smile, even though it’s been awhile since I’ve seen you.

    Until we meet again…..

  5. I will miss my bright, playful, nature-loving friend. The first time we met she gave me a bottle of bubbles to blow. I knew I had met a kindred spirit. May she find wooded paths to walk in heaven.

  7. Linda was a dear person. She was loved by many. I knew her well, both from Webster High School and St. Lucas UCC. Also, she sat in front of me in class at Webster. We became good friends. My wife and I will always miss her friendly face and conversation. I will be reaching out to fellow Webster students to make them aware of her passing. Lonnie & Jean Haefner

  27. Linda we will all miss you. You gave so much. From your small acts of kindness, to teaching us at church how to use journaling as a tool to deepen our faith, to your directions in the kitchen to help us serve a meal. Just a very small list of things I thank you for.
