passed away peacefully on October 13, 2019 at the age of 70 years.
Nancy was born in St. Louis to Edward and Anetha Roesler on April 6, 1949. She attended Mehlville High School and went on to graduate from University of Missouri – St. Louis. She worked as a teacher for Lindbergh School District for 27 years. She was involved in Lindbergh Retired Educators. Nancy also was a member of her High School Reunion committee and volunteered with 100 Neediest Cases campaign for multiple years. Nancy enjoyed being social through participation in book club, a card playing group, and a Mahjong group.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She always kept busy with family vacations, various projects, movie dates with her husband and going to musicals. She always enjoyed trying new experiences through travel, being educated in technology/lingo from children or even grandchildren as well as trying new sporting activities like pickleball. The highlight every year after retirement was the sister trip with her three sisters where they caused mischief in a different travel spot in the US.
Her greatest joy was being able to support her children and grandchildren in all the various aspects of their lives. She traveled to see her grandchildren in band performances, sporting events, art competitions, and to participate in grandparents’ days. She loved going on field trips with her grandkids, seeing their graduations, and reading to her grandchildren’s classes.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 48 years Stephen M.; daughter, Candace Jernigan and her husband Mark; daughter, Christal Clark and her husband Dave; son, Craig Hausner and his wife Beth; daughter, Courtney; and 8 grandchildren, Catelynn, Caleigh, Michael, Matthew, Connor, Gene, Blake and Andrew. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
