Andrea Haverstick

In Loving Memory

Haverstick, Andrea Ann (nee Cole)

May 24, 1952 - January 30, 2024

Was born on May 24, 1952, and departed this life on January 30, 2024. She was a beloved mother to Melissa Basch (Jimmy), Kevin Basch, and Megan Preston (Jesse). Andrea also held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren: Lucas Harmon, Emily and Liam Basch, Wesley and Henry Preston.  Andrea was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Haverstick and siblings, Bobby and Carol Cole. She treasured her relationship with her aunts Marlene Skinner and Joyce Krekeler. Her cherished friendships extended to her former husband, Timothy Basch, Daniel Harmon, Jamie Basch and countless others who were touched by her warmth and kindness.
In her lifetime, Andrea made significant contributions as a dedicated employee at Taylanas Pizza and Al Baker’s. Her journey was a testament to a life well-lived, characterized by genuine goodness, unwavering kindness, and boundless love. Andrea, affectionately known as “Andy,” was a radiant force in any gathering. Her infectious, fun-loving spirit lit up every room she entered, and she approached life with a passion that left a lasting impression. Andy’s love knew no bounds, and her kindness and compassion touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her, regardless of the length of their acquaintance. To know Andy was to love her.
In celebration of Andy’s vibrant and joyful life, her children invite family and friends to join them on Saturday, February 10th, 2024 at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois St Louis MO 63123 for visitation from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:30 pm . This gathering will be a true reflection of Andy’s spirit, filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories—a fitting tribute to the extraordinary woman she was. Memorials to American Lung Association appreciated.
