Juanita M. (Thomas) Hayes, joined her husband of seventy-two years, the late James E. Hayes, in heaven on February 3, 2026. She is survived by three sons: Thomas E. (Kathy) Hayes of Arnold, MO, Kenneth J. (Sharon) Hayes of Bloomsdale, MO, and Gary L. (the late Terry) Hayes of Festus, MO. She was blessed with six grandchildren: Charles (Deana) Hayes, Beki (David) Perschbacher, Kelly (Marcus) Genova, Jesse (Courtney) Hayes, James Hayes, and Michael Hayes. Jaunita was a doting great-grandmother to many. Born August 16, 1929 she lived in Arnold most of her life. She and Jim enjoyed winters in Florida in their retirement years. An expert in applique quilting, she also loved her pets, and tending to her beautiful flower gardens.
Services; Visitation at Kutis Funeral Home South County (5255 Lemay Ferry), on Friday February 13, 2026 from 9AM until time of service at 10AM. Juanita will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery next to her beloved Jim.
