(nee Grills) of Affton, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the age of 91 with family at her side.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene P. Hazlewood; dear daughter of the late Avra and Ruth (nee Rundquist) Grills; dear sister of the late Warren (Marion) Grills; loving mother of Mark (Debra) and Richard (Theresa); dear aunt of Nancy (Charles) Mallett and Barbara (Butch) Ellis; dearest grandmother of Angela, William (Hannah), Christine (Dayton) Humbles, and Thomas Hazlewood.

Carol delighted in her family serving as its matriarch for many years. She was a friend to all and kind to everyone around. Her gentle nature and sweet spirit will be missed by her family and friends!

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Sat., Nov. 10, 12:30 p.m. until service at 1:30 p.m. The family wants to thank the Laclede Groves’ Jewel Box staff for the tender care they provided Carol for the past four years.
