Laverne Betty Hea “Peanuts” born September 2, 1929 was fortified with the Sacraments of the Hoy Mother Church Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Loving mother to Thomas (Joannie) P. Leahy Jr, . Loving grandmother to Thomas. P. Leahy III (Trae), Mandy Morris, Kelley (Derek) Schaub. Loving great grandmother to Hayley, Ryley, Keyley, Jaclyn, and Jonah. Daughter of Ernie Moeser, and Susan (Pikorski) Moeser, dear sister to
Ethel (Paul) Bour, Laura (Frank) Keller, Arthur Moeser, Doris (Erwin) Hauck, Our dear aunt, Godmother, and cousin.

Laverne, better known as Peanuts (a nickname her father gave her as a child), was loving and devoted to her family. Peanuts father and mother worked in the garment industry and she followed in their footsteps. She worked as a seamstress for 20 years and then made uniforms for Northside Bank in Jennings, when more banks and restaurants hired her for of her special talent. She and her father made wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses for her sisters. She also made wedding dresses for nieces, other family members and friends. Peanuts loved to sew for everyone she knew. Some outfits have been so well tailored they have been handed down from her granddaughter to nieces, great
granddaughters, and even great nieces.

Above all, Peanuts is remembered for the love and care she had for her family. She cared for her 93 year-old mother for many years, and was
always there for her sisters and brother when they needed help. She would check on her nieces and nephews and tried to stay close to them. She was a special mother to her son. Special grandmother and great-grandmother. The amazing memories made between Peanuts and her loved ones will be cherished for years to come. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial mass will he held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at St. Cletus Church, 2705 Zumbehl Road St. Charles MO 63301. Gathering at
10:30, Mass at 11:00 am.
