Donna Rose (Barnes) Hearst, 88, formerly of Barnhart, passed away on December 27, 2017, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was a homemaker, devoted wife and loving mother. Donna and her husband enjoyed traveling together, especially to Bible conferences. She was a member of Westview Missionary Baptist Church in Jefferson City. Born March 6, 1929, in Pevely, Missouri, Donna was the daughter of the late William Thurman Barnes and Catherine Ida (Burdick) Barnes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmet Hearst, on July 6, 2016 after nearly 70 years of marriage. She is survived by her four children: David (Sharon) Hearst of Hermann, Michael (Rae Lynn) Hearst of Jefferson City, Timothy (Gail) Hearst of Pevely, and Dawn (Wayne) King of Sullivan; nine grandchildren: Tracy (Mark) Wegman, Chad (Jamie) Hearst, Racheal Hearst, Derek (Angela) Hearst, Joshua (Jill) Hearst Jennifer (Jeremy) Holtzer, Jason King, Keith (Mandy) King and Gabriel Hearst; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Beverly Ruess of Crystal City, Missouri and Eve Westfield of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Services: Visitation 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road. Funeral 10:00 am, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Kutis South County Chapel.
