Deepest condolences from the Hertel family. Aaron was such a great kid and a good friend to William. I loved watching their friend group grow up and our hearts are breaking over his passing. Sending healing thoughts and prayers for peace.
Aaron used to eat lunch in my classroom with me almost daily, during his junior and senior years at AHS. He loved to talk about sports and was just an overall kind person. I have not kept up with Aaron after graduation, but my heart broke for his friends and family when I saw this, I’m thankful for the memories I have of him at lunch.
