Daniel Mark Helle

In Loving Memory

Helle, Daniel “Dan” Mark

August 6, 1976 - February 17, 2025

Born August 6, 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri and unfortunately passed away on Monday, February 17th, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Devoted father of Kaleb Helle, Josh Helle, and Charlotte “Lottie” Dymek; beloved son of Jane Helle (nee Earlywine) and Eugene Helle Jr.; loving brother of Abby (Josh) Helle-Krull and the late Cainah Ormsby; dear grandson of Rose Helle; and adoring dog-dad to his beloved pup, Buddy.

Dan was a truly kind soul who wanted to make friends with everyone he came across. He was a man who loved his friends and family dearly and was a proud father of his three children. The world will be a quieter and colder place without his laughter and warm smiles. His family asks that those who remember him join us for his memorial service to take a moment to remember a man who would talk to anyone at the drop of a hat, who loved to tinker and fix things, and who was a talented musician who was branching into painting. We will all miss him dearly.

SERVICES: Memorial visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Saturday, March 22nd from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, with the memorial service at 4:00 PM.

  1. As his daughter Charlotte’s grandmother, I had many encounters with Daniel. He was always kind, loving and would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you were in need. As others have said the world has lost a kind and caring soul when Dan gave up his earthly spirit. I’m guessing he is working now alongside St Peter to help those in need at they enter the Pearly Gates.

  2. Dan was a kind and generous soul. He was funny. He could fix just about anything from computers to cars. He was talented, smart, and someone you could really count on. I know it’s a cliche, but they don’t make them like Dan anymore. A real stand up guy in every sense of the word. Thank you, Dan, for being my friend. You will be missed but not forgotten.
