Georgia Herberts

In Loving Memory

Herberts, Georgia L. (nee Griese)

July 18, 1927 - July 19, 2025

Asleep in Jesus on Saturday, July 19th, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Stanley R. Herberts; devoted mother of Richard Herberts, Lynn Etling, Cara (John) Russell, and the late Gary Herberts; adoringgrandmother of Stephanie (Jason) Aubuchon, Robert (Leslie) Etling Jr., Michael (Alicia) Etling, and Nichole (Scott Treece) Russell; cherished great grandmother of Isabella and Landon Aubuchon, Evan, Alex, Nolan, and Caroline Etling, and Nathan and Gabe Browning; loving sister of the late Judy (Edward) Kendall; our dear aunt, great aunt, sisterin-law, cousin, and friend.

With Georgia her family always came first. The true love of her life was her husband Stan whom she married in April,1948. They had nearly 30 years together before his sudden death in 1978. Georgia loved to travel, visiting 45 states and seven European nations, not to mention, numerous day trips with friends after she retired in 1993. In 2011 at the age of 84 Georgia and a friend travelled to Alaska. While there, by chance, she flew on a U.S. mail plane to a small village well north of the Arctic Circle. Georgia also loved dogs and rescued her final and favorite pet Tink in 2011. Tink provided her with companionship and amusement for the ten years they had together. We will always remember and love our mom, grandma and great-grandma.
