Beloved wife for 44 years of Jim Herr; loving mom of Jessica (Justin) Absheer and John (Katie) Herr; dear grandma of Hayden, Cameron, Colton and Natalie; dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to so many.
Diana was loved by many and adored spending time with family, crafting, and playing games.
Memorial visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Tuesday, September 22 from 4-8 pm. “Family and friends are invited to share in remarks and eulogies beginning at 6:30.”
Jim, Jessica and John. I was shocked to hear about Diana’s passing. I know she was the center of your family. Keep those good memories alive.
To her twin sister Denise, and her sister-in-law Anna. I know you were the 3 musketeers and had plenty of laughs along the way. Don’t stop doing all the things you shared together

I am at a total loss of words. Although Diana and I had gone separate ways, she was and is in my heart forever. This October it will be 32 years since she stood beside me as my Matron of Honor when I married my husband, George. I didn’t even know she was ill. I am so very sorry for this tragic loss. She was a truly beautiful person inside and out. My condolences to Jim and the rest of the family that was the center of her world. Rest in peace old friend.
Diana was a light in our lives. She was so sweet, so kind, and she brought a drop of joy wherever she went. I will miss our daily talks. I will miss sitting in her area when my day got to be too much. I will miss the true empathy she exuded. I will miss the holiday sweaters. I will miss all of it.
Di, my favorite pain in the… (her words), thank you for being part of my life and making this whole experience better. Jim and family, I am so sorry. Di, please hug my people for me. they will be there to greet you.
Accent changed this weekend when Diana was called home. My days were blessed by her sweet presence and genuine personality that brightened each day with a daily smile and happy greeting, always had something nice to say. I pray that your family will lean on the great memories you have given them. I am grateful to have known her and to have had her as an encouraging part of each day at Accent. You are already missed and will be in the future.
I worked with her for a long time. Her wings were ready but our hearts were not.
Diana welcomed me when we worked together and was always the most generous and kind person in our organization. I was touched by her joy of life. She will surely be missed.
