Age 70, Born in Winchester, TN  passed away at his residence in Byrnes Mill, MO on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Beloved husband for 43 years of Eileen Hill (nee Durham). Dearest father of Billy Harris of Byrnes Mill, MO and Kenneth Hill of High Ridge, MO. Loving grandfather of Alexander Hill of Barnhart, MO and Emily Edwards of High Ridge, MO. Dear brother of Betty Smith of Tullahoma, TN, Christina Ashley of Winchester, TN, Charles (Brenda ) Hill of Cowan, TN, James Hill Sr. of Winchester, TN and the late Joann (survived by Louis) Heaghney, Stephen Hill and Joe Jr. (survived by Mary) Hill. Preceded in death by his parents Joe and Christine Hill and a granddaughter Lilly Rose Heston. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

At just 24 years old, he received a kidney transplant from his brother Charlie and was blessed to be one of the longest living kidney transplant recipients, surviving for 46 years after his transplant. He enjoyed fishing, long car rides, flea markets/yard sales and repairing things. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends and sharing his life’s stories. He will be greatly missed.

SERVICES:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Friday, February 18, 10AM until time of funeral at 12PM. Burial at Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
