Peacefully fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Christopher Hoey Sr. Loving mother of Dawn (Ken) Florian, Kimberly (Rob) Thompson, and Christopher (Kristin) Hoey Jr. Dear Mau Mau of Brendan, Allison, the late Noah, Phoebe, Sawyer, Leo, Nolan, and Kinsley. Dear Great-Mau Mau of Hudson. Dear sister of Gary (Cathy)Throm, David (Barb) Throm, and Wayne (Christine) Throm. Dear sister-in-law of Marybeth (Allan) Desloge. Preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Marian Throm, father and mother-in-law Patrick Sr. and Elizabeth Hoey, and brother and sister-in-law Patrick  Jr. and Patricia Hoey. Our dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Trudy, a native of St. Louis, MO, attended St. George, Seven Holy Founders, and Cor Jesu Academy before earning her AA in Graphic design. She met the love of her life at the age of 16 and they were married for over 52 years. She was an amazing stay at home mom, who cherished being a very involved and supportive mother. She later worked as a commercial artist. She was an active member of St. Simon the Apostle church and school community. She enjoyed traveling and dancing with her husband, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She couldn’t get enough of her grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by many.

Services: Funeral from Kutis Afton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd

Saint Louis, MO  63123 On Thursday, May 28, 9 a.m. to St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church, for 10:00 am Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.

Visitation Wednesday, May 27, 3-9 p.m.

  2. Trudy was a vibrant, active, talented woman who gave of her time and talents in many ways: Family first, Saint Simons, and her community of Green Park. Her smile was radiant and her heart giving. I’m certain Chris was at heaven’s gate to welcome her home.

  4. Trudy was our first President of the Board of Alderman when the City of
    Green Park incorporated in 1994.
    She was very helpful in getting our city started. God bless you, Trudy
