In Loving Memory

Hoffman, Diane L.

At 66 years young, Diana Lynn Hoffman passed peacefully in her Florida home on December 31, 2023, after a short battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Diane dedicated her life to caring for others, starting at an early age as the oldest of five. Her lifelong commitment to childcare touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting impression. She was a cherished daughter and sister, loving wife and partner, devoted mother of two, and “Grammie” to her sweet grandson, Leo.

In 1979, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kevin Carl Hoffman. K.C. preceded her in death November 9, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Helen Gray (nee Callison), and brother, David Gray. She is survived by her partner of five years Jeffrey Hartenstine, her daughters Kelly Hoffman (Marc Stucker) and Heather Hoffman, grandson Leonidas McKeller, Father Harry Gray, brothers Michael (Andrea) Gray and Brian Gray, sister Denise (John) Stone, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Road) on Sunday, January 14th, 10:00am – 12:00pm, with a Memorial Service to follow at noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s memory at AutismSpeaks.org, in honor of her grandson.

  1. Diane Hoffman’s Family,
Please accepted our deepest sorrow and sympathies of your mother, grandmother, sister, partner and caring loving person, Diane.
We are her and Jeff’s neighbors from across the street, here in Florida.
We will definitely miss her smiling face, the love, happiness of their home and caring nature.
Our prayers are for your peace that she fought hard, however it was her time to return to our heavenly home.

I pray God will help you endure this day of saying goodbye to one of his precious children. One again God opened his gate for another Angel to live forever in his home. May you rest in Peace sweetie! Your cousin on Gray side.

  4. Although I never met Diane, if she was as caring as her beautiful daughter Heather, I’m certain that heavens getting a beautiful Angel.

I had so hope we’d met. May god be with your family as they go through these trying times.
