Hoffman

In Loving Memory

Hoffmann, Joan Louise (nee Kristof)

March 12, 1942 - February 9, 2026

Joan L. Hoffmann, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully February 9th, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Joan was the heart of her family. As a wonderful wife, she stood faithfully beside her husband, Ralph Hoffmann, through life’s joys and challenges, offering steady love, encouragement, and grace. As a mother, to Susan Neu and Kristin Kohlberg(Eric Kohlberg) she gave selflessly of her time, wisdom, and gentle guidance, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.

Her greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with grandchildren, Alex (Brittany) Neu, Taylor Neu, Christian, Anna (Mark) Pelizzaro, Grace (Louis)Monti, Lily Kohlberg, Rose Kohlberg, Mary Kohlberg , great grandchildren Emory & Dawson Neu. Whether through family gatherings, holiday traditions, or quiet conversations, Joan made each person feel special and deeply loved. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled — faith in God, compassion for others, and the importance of family.

Joan’s faith was the foundation of her life. She trusted in God wholeheartedly and lived her beliefs daily through prayer, service, and kindness. Her calm spirit and generous heart touched many beyond her family, and she will be remembered for her gentle strength and steadfast devotion.

Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort knowing she is at peace in the arms of her Savior. Her love remains with us always. New funeral arrangements are the following :

  3. Joan was the spiritual and profound matriarch of the Hoffmann family.
She imparted her wisdom and provided strength to all members of her family. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all she was an excellent roll model to follow in her footsteps. While we are all sorry to lose her we can, at best, pray for her continued guidance of our lives here on earth. It was indeed a pleasure to know her!
