Growing up with your mom and dad in Woodston was a pure delight. Knowing both Harry and Garry was as well. I can’t believe this has happened. It is now our generation to say good bye.

I work in the nursing home Harry resided at. He was a good guy with a good sense of humor. I enjoyed getting to know him the first and second time he was there. He is back with Doris. To Craig and the family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sorry you lost Doris and Harry so close together. May Harry’s memory be a blessing. May he Rest In Peace.

When we attended Doris’s funeral and we watched Harry sit so patiently next to her, we felt the incredible love they had for each other. Harry and Doris were our next door neighbors for 40 years but really they were our family. They were there to guide us as we started our own family and the memories we have of all the good times we had together will always be there for us. They will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Our family has fond memories of our trips to St Louis and spending time with Harry and Doris. Harry was an excellent tour guide as he drove us around and we so enjoyed his stories of his youth and also when Craig and Scott were growing up. Prayers of peace and comfort to all of the Holmes family during this time of great loss.
Much Love,
The Garrison Family
