November 27, 1938 - March 30, 2026

Kenrick C Hopkin, a man of profound warmth, independence, and unwavering devotion passed away peacefully on the morning of March 30th, 2026 at the age of 87.

Born in St. Louis, Mo to Kenrick and Verna (Rothweiler) Hopkin, he grew up with a deep appreciation for hard work and resilience. Whether facing life’s challenges or guiding his family, he navigated every situation with a calm strength and a gentle, loving heart. He was a true rock to his loved ones, always providing a steady hand and a warm smile.

Ken was known for his fiercely independent spirit, continuing to live on his own up until his death. Yet this independence was perfectly balanced by his altruistic nature. He was a man who gave himself freely, always putting his loved ones first. He was devoted to his family, his friends, and his faith. His faith never wavered.

He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Audrey (Searle) Hopkin, daughter Krista Fadler, grandson Justin Kuenz, his parents Kenrick and Verna Hopkin, and sister Dianne Niethe. He was recently followed in death by his grandson Tanner Martin.

He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen (Robert) Martin, Kim Kuenz, Karen (Teddy) Hopkin Spurgeon, his grandchildren Joshua Kuenz, Haley (Alex) Barnes, Morgan Martin, and Isabella, Elizabeth, and Max Spurgeon.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 5th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial, Mo. Service under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
