Passed away on Friday, March 29th, 2024.

Beloved husband of Janice Hoppe (nee Eilers); devoted father of Dawn Crafts and Jennifer (Joe) Goetter; adoring grandfather of Dominic, Jonah, and Nora Crafts and Zachary Goetter; loving brother of Jill (Dave) Allen; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Missouri Department of Conservation (Donations PO Box 180 Jefferson City, MO 65102-0180) in honor of George.

SERVICES: Memorial visitation will be held at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd 63123) on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 from 1:30 – 4:30 PM, with the memorial service beginning at 4:30 PM.

  1. George’s FB posts and photos about his lake life and family were always so happy and joyful. In HS he always had a smile on his face and a kind word. So sorry his family lost such a good man.

  4. George, a million words could be said about the great times we had fishing at the river and the many lakes we visited. It wasn’t about catching fish, it was about the 3 of us sitting around telling stories and solving the worlds problems. We will miss you George. My prayers are with you and your family.
