Marcia Hrdlicka

In Loving Memory

Hrdlicka, Marcia Lu (nee Gleeson)

June 30, 1936 - October 16, 2025

Marcia Hrdlicka, a woman of unwavering strength, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025. Born in 1936 in St. Louis Missouri, Marcia carved her own path in this world, one marked by resilience and determination.

She was the beloved wife of Donald Hrdlicka, who preceded her in death in 1996, and together they built a life rooted in love and commitment. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her four children: Lynn Cline (Michael), Mark Hrdlicka (Lisa), Beth Hrdlicka and Paul Hrdlicka. She was a devoted grandmother to Madison, Ashley, Abby, Megan, Alivia and Jake, and a cherished great-grandmother to Anderson, Emery, Jonah, Brielle, Rowan and Nora.

A dedicated nurse for many years, Marcia’s care extended far beyond her family. She touched countless lives with her tireless work ethic and quiet strength. Her love for baseball was more than a pastime, but a life-long passion.

Marcia will be remembered as a woman who stood tall in the face of adversity and worked hard for everything she had. Her legacy is one of courage and quiet devotion.

She leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply but carry her spirit forward with pride and gratitude.

  2. So sorry for the loss to the Hrdlicka family. I only know Paul, but there’s no doubt in my mind that his family is as caring and loving as he is! I would have loved to have met Marcia! She sounded like a pistol of a woman and would have been such a blast to be around! Loss is always so hard , but we know she is free of pain and now living the life with her Savior. Keep your memories close and know y’all will be together again one day.
