Hurt, Marlene (nee Stroble)

Marlene Hurt (nee Stroble) passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Hurt, daughter of the late Francis and Loraine Stroble (nee Michel), devoted sister of Frank  Stroble, dear sister-in-law of Ruth Stroble and the late Glenn Hurt (Barbara). Dear aunt and caring friend. A native of St. Louis, Marlene was a devoted member of the St. Joan of Arc parish. Marlene had a humble and most generous heart.

Services: Visitation will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at St Joan of Arc Church, 5800 Oleatha Ave., St. Louis. Funeral Mass to follow. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family is being served by Kutis Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

  1. Marlene , was my dear neighbor and friend. She was always available for driving me when my car was in the shop or both of us going to get mulch or manure for the garden. She missed her parents and Gerry so much. I am happy she is in heaven and celebrating with our Lord but I will have an empty spot in my heart. God bless you dear friend.
