Ianke, Daniel H.

Ianke, Daniel H., 62, was born on January 6, 1955 in St. Louis, MO. Dan passed away May 6, 2017, at his home in Sullivan, MO, from Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Dan is proceeded by his Father-Robert Willard Ianke, Mother-Lucille Caroline Ianke, and Brother-Mark Richard Ianke. Dan was a Vietnam Army Veteran who earned the National Defense Medal and M-16 Rifle Expert Badge. After receiving an Honorable discharge, Dan achieved a Doctorate of Chemistry, as well as his Masters in Marine Biology and Microbiology. Dan was also a Scientist that had several articles published and a Research Chemist for Monsanto for 10 years. Dan had many hobbies including Radio controlled Airplanes and Cars, Fishing, Hunting and Astronomy. Dan was a loving Son, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and was survived by his brother Michael and Sister-in-law Tammy, and Brother David & Sister-in-law Vicky and Sister-in-law Dolly.

There will be a memorial visitation on Tuesday, May 9th from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Funeral Service May 10th starting at 12:00 Noon. Both will be held at Kutis South County Chapel, located at 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63129. Following the funeral service, Dan will take his final journey here on earth to Jefferson Barracks where he will be laid to rest. There will be a get-together afterwards at 1872 Casa Drive, Arnold, Missouri 63101
