  1. I am so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. Her and Max were so kind to my husband and I when we joined the church they attended and even invited us out to Culver’s after service. Our prayers are with all who knew and love this beautiful lady.

  5. I first met this great lady in 1988 when my husband and I attended our first USS New Mexico reunion. It was instant friendship with Max and Carol. My husband Leonard served in save division on the ship. We spent every September with them and trips at other times of year also! When Max passed I stayed in touch with this great lady! I last visited her in June of this year along with my son Joel and grandson Cody! Joel attended many reunions with us and we had a nice visit with her! I loved her sense of humor, her love of God, and family. I will miss her. Sending love and prayers to all of her family from her friends here in Utah! You are loved Carol! Give Max a hard time from me!

  7. Very sorry for your loss. Max and Carol would come to the Sanders house when we were there with our kiddos for Christmas and be dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. It was done several times when they were little. We were always so grateful that they did that. They were very dear friends of Dick and Mary Sanders. Such sweet memories of a wonderful couple. We are sending love to their family that will miss her dearly.
