Jabbour 1

In Loving Memory

Jabbour, Peter Robert

February 2, 1955 - April 4, 2026

Peter Robert Jabbour age 71  passed away on April 4, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband to Patti, his loving wife for 47 years.  They also dated for seven years and had been together since that they were 14 years old.  Peter was born in Brooklyn, New York and his whole family moved to Webster Groves when he was in second grade.  Peter was the youngest of five siblings and is proceeded in death by his parents, Michel and Alice Jabbour and his sister, Kristina Whistle and brother, Mickey Jabbour.  He was a joyful loving brother to his sister, Jeanne Jabbour (Eric Clausen), brother, Paul Jabbour (Pat, now deceased), and brother-in-law to Barbara Flasch (Glenn, now deceased) and Hank Muetze (also deceased). He was a amazing uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

After Peter married Patti in 1978 after both his parents died, they moved to Kansas City so he could work for his brother-in-Law in the concrete business.  He continued His career in concrete for most all of his life.  After having his own company and other smaller companies, he retired from his career and job at Central Plains Cement company in 2023.

Peter and Patti were blessed with four children who are now grown, Melissa (Chris) Ruddle, Peter Jabbour, Jr, Joshua Jabbour, and Kristin (Anthony) Williams.

Soon they were blessed again with eight beautiful grandchildren.  He loved each and every one of them, Madison, Brooks, and Landon Ruddle, Olivia, Maeve, (twins) and Blaize Jabbour, Henry, and Blake Williams and Noah Peter, who will soon be the newest addition to Kristin’s family this summer.  He adored each and everyone of them and played with them so much physically and quietly as they contemplated his love of card and board games.

Peter was the kind of man that spent more time with his kids than he did doing anything for himself.   He worked hard his whole life for his family and even went to school at night at Rockhurst University to finish his education when the children were very young.  He spent time with each of them and helped them in their sports and school activities. He also like to do the fun things like riding bikes, rollerblading, and outdoor sports.  He was the most dedicated, and loving father and as a coach to his children taught them the most important things is to have faith in God, believe in yourself and be grateful and positive.

He was the kind of person that would leave you with a smile even if he didn’t even know you.  He left most of his friends and family laughing as he was always a joking or teasing just to make you smile.

He left a great legacy of love and joy for others and because of his integrity his footprint will always be remembered to everyone who knew him.  We will miss him forever.
