Shirley Jacobson Klahs, nee Munie, age 95, of St. Louis County, died September 9, 2019 at Delmar Gardens nursing home. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Parish for more than 30 years, where she was active in support of many parish activities, including serving as one of the captains for Eucharistic Adoration, often covering multiple hours when needed.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond G. Jacobson Sr., the father of her six children, and Joseph W. Klahs Sr.; her parents, John B. and Josephine S., nee Walter, Munie; three brothers; three sisters; son-in-law Joseph W. Klahs Jr; and step-daughter Linda, nee Klahs, Eckelkamp.

Surviving are her six children, Jo Ann (Donald) Holdener, Phyllis Klahs, Jacqueline (Keith) Miller, Raymond G. (Susan) Jacobson Jr., Georgette (Bernard) Gerwel and Jerome Jacobson; Step grandsons, Gregory (Beth) Holdener and Joseph (Nicole) Eckelkamp; eighteen grandchildren; Twenty nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call on Sunday, September 15, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Kutis Mortuary, 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO 63123.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Assumption Catholic Church, 4725 Mattis Road, on Monday, September 16 at 10:00 AM followed by internment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
