born on December 27, 1929 and Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Loving wife of the late Vernon Edward Jacquin who she married on February 18, 1950; beloved mother of Edward (Gail), Robert, Daniel (Cheryl) and David (Jacqueline) Jacquin; dearest grandma of Kara (Collin) Koenig, Sarah, Steven (Rebecca) Jacquin, Leah (Mark) Krassinger, Rebecca (Eric Hilkenkamp) Jacquin, Kimberleigh (Timothy) Schuessler and Deborah (Matthew) Gibbins;  dear great-grandma of Elliott, Rowan Koenig, Cannon Dowell, Lucas, Gabriella, Kaylynn Jacquin, Faith, Alaina, Mitchell Krassinger, Nathan, Theodore Schuessler, William, Madilyn Gibbins; daughter of the late Erwin and Ethel Niebling (nee Sweigart); sister of the late Warren (Dorothy) and Raymond (Margaret) Niebling; our dear aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Mary was the driving force organizing her husband and four boys growing up.  She was the family historian and loved telling stories.  Mary had many hobbies such as sewing, refinishing furniture, crafts and cooking.  She enjoyed the lake house with her husband Vern and the many family gatherings that were held there.  Mary could be seen rink side with her husband and four boys supporting speed skating and now the fourth generation great-grandkids are skating. Her spiritual compass led her family through their Catholic faith and she shared her Christian faith with her family.

In Mary’s 95th year she enjoyed her birthday party. She celebrated all holidays with her family, including a Christmas outing and dinner with her sons and daughter-in-laws and she passed away peacefully later that evening and ready to see her maker.

Visitation Tuesday, December 30, 12:00 NOON until Funeral Mass 1:00 p.m. at Seven Holy Founders, 6737 South Rock Hill Rd. (63123).  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  The family request memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.

Condolences

  4. Always enjoyed time with Aunt Mary and was excited to be the flower girl at her wedding. We had some fun times with our cousins at family gatherings. Later on, really enjoyed hearing stories about her youth with her brothers.
She was an interesting person and will be missed- so glad to have had her all these years. Love you.
