o It is with profound sadness, but also tremendous gratitude for the life and love they shared, that we announce the passing of our sweet Dad and Mom. Their story was, above all else, a love story.
o For 69 years, Dad and Mom walked through life side by side. They built a home, raised a family, celebrated life’s happiest moments, weathered the difficult ones, (especially the loss of their son Eric) and created countless memories along the way.
o Through all the years and all the changes life brought them, one thing remained constant – their devotion to one another. Those who knew them rarely thought of one without the other. They were partners, companions, best friends, and the center of a family they deeply loved. Their marriage was not simply measured by years, but in the ordinary moments that became extraordinary by knowing the other was there.
o Their family will remember them not only for their individual lives, but for the beautiful life they created together. Their love became part of the foundation of their family, and that legacy will continue through daughters Tammy (Karl) Maus and Michelle (Tom) Sieckhaus, daughter-in-law Sharon Jakubeck, grandchildren Tony (Whitney) Maus, Breanna (Scott) Blessing, Matt (Alexa) Sieckhaus, Mike Sieckhaus, Nick Jakubeck, Neil Jakubeck ,and great-grandchildren Jackson Maus, Parker and Sawyer Blessing, and the precious ones to come.
o There is something especially touching about saying goodbye to them so close together. While our hearts are broken by the enormity of this loss, there is a comfort in knowing that the remarkable love story they began so many years ago will always be remembered as one.

A celebration of the lives of Chuck and Connie will be held Saturday, October 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home (5255 Lemay Ferry Road).
Family and friends are invited to celebrate two lives- and one extraordinary love story- that meant so much to so many.
