August William Jaudes, Jr., known to many as “Bud” of St. Louis, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026 at the age of 93. Bud was preceded in death by his loving wife Joan (nee Ottenad) of 72 years. He is survived by his loving children, Paul (Kate) Jaudes, Sally (Mark) Stauber, Matt (Sandy) Jaudes, Erin Pugh, Charles (Monica) Jaudes, 13 blessed grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Born and raised in St. Louis, he served as a Marine Sergeant in the Korean War. Bud went to night school to get his degree in accounting, and had a long career as a CPA. He was a founding member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church where he served faithfully in countless ministries. He spent his life loving God and his family.
Services: Visitation will be at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 4355 Butler Hill Road, St. Louis, MO on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 9:30 am with funeral service at 10:00 am, followed by internment with military honors at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Please direct Memorials to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.
