  7. Suzanne, My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul of your precious mother rest in peace.
I remember a friend at my mother’s wake telling me this:
Death leaves a heartache only time and the Lord can heal.
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
We should “Thank The Lord for all His Blessing” and we are saddened of your loss but grateful you mother has gone to a better place free from pain and suffering.

  9. Sandra and Suzanne,
Greetings from Naples, FL. Out of the blue I googled your step father, George, my godfather. I am Ed and Arlene Luning’s oldest son, Mark. Your mother was incredibly glamorous woman, married to my Dad’s best friend, George. While they were all single, your mom and George convinced my mother, Arlene Laspe, a young glamorous college girl to marry my Dad, a bachelor at the ripe old age of 28. Best thing that ever happened to all of us! They all drank martinis and danced to Tony Bennett’s best. George was a pistol. Died too young. I hope you see this. My e-mail is mark.luning@gmail.com. Best to you all! Mark and family.
