Dear niece, aunt, cousin and friend.
Lisa was a rare and beautiful soul who spent her life pouring love, warmth, and kindness into everyone she met. Her heart was a safe harbor where judgment never existed, and she had an incredible gift for making people feel completely seen, valued, and safe. She carried her kindness quietly but lived her compassion boldly, always giving her time and encouragement freely without ever counting the cost. Though she has left this world, the profound impact of her gentle spirit remains alive in the countless lives she touched, and her memory will always be a guiding light for those who loved her.
While I didn’t have the opportunity to know you for as long as many others, the short time made a huge impact. I can say for certain that you welcomed me in immediately with open arms and showed me just what love for your family is supposed to look like. You made countless sacrifices and never gave up fighting for the ones you cared about and one thing that I truly admired about you is that nobody ever had to second guess your love for them. You were a sweet, kind and loving soul and heaven is lucky to receive a sweet angel like you. All of us left behind whom you’ve impacted are blessed to have such an amazing guardian angel. Rest easy sweet soul and until we meet again.

My beautiful sister, my best friend. I’m sorry it’s taking me a bit to write this on here. My heart has been completely broken, I still can’t believe I’m writing these words. I don’t know how to imagine this life without you in it. You were always the person I could call for anything the good, the bad, the happy moments, and the times I didn’t know what to do you listened, gave me advice, comforted me and always try to protect me when Mom died so suddenly I was only 19 he stepped in and helped fill a place in my life that could never truly be filled. You became my protector my safe place. I will always remember our kids growing up together packing them in the car stopping at Burger King and heading to Arnold Park watching them run around the lake chasing geese. I remember our girls trip to Branson with our daughters while the guys were off hunting and all the countless hours spent at your house talking about everything and nothing you loved your family with your whole heart after losing Andrew you carried that heartbreak but never stop showing up for your family. You are the best cook loved family, gatherings, and had a way of making everyone feel special. I found 22 birthday cards. You have written me. I can’t bring myself to read them yet but to have your words in writing is one of the greatest gifts you could have given me. I miss you more than I could ever put into words, I miss your voice, I miss your advice, your laughter, your hugs and most of all just knowing you were there. Thank you for being my sister. Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for loving me all these years. I will carry you with me for the rest of my life until we meet again. I love you bunches and bunches, sister XOXO.
