Donald Jerger

In Loving Memory

Jerger, Donald R.

January 26, 1943 - January 19, 2024

Donald R. Jerger, born on January 26, 1943, peacefully passed away on January 19, 2024. A devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and cherished brother and friend, Don’s life was defined by his love for family and friends.

For an incredible 61 years, Don shared his life with his beloved wife, Nita.  Their bond was a shining example of commitment and companionship, creating a foundation of strength, support, and shared memories that will forever be cherished.

A devoted father, Don leaves behind five children: Lisa (Danny), Kathy (Don), Tony (Dawn), Mike (Susan), and Amy.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren: Ashley (Peter), Hayley, Megan (John), Kelly, Blake, Austin, Jesse, Lindsey, Brianna, Tonilee, Nicole, and Zach.  His great-grandchildren, Rosalie, Everlin, Lyla, and Delilah brought him additional joy and smiles.

Don took great pleasure in spending time outdoors.  He enjoyed many fishing trips with family and friends, hunting, camping, gardening and golfing.  He could often be found cheering on his grandchildren during soccer, softball, football and baseball games.

Don’s legacy of love, humor, and family values, particularly his enduring marriage to Nita, will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
