Jewell

In Loving Memory

Jewell, Roberta “Gene” (nee Nalley)

August 17, 1933 - March 20, 2024

Roberta “Gene” Jewell (nee Nalley) Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Wednesday, March 20,2024; loving daughter of the late Wayland and Geneva Nalley, sister of the late Jewell (Mary) Nalley; beloved wife of the late John Jewell for over 46 years, loving mother of Stephanie (Jim) Cagle, Greg (Ellen) Jewell, Jennifer (David) AuBuchon; cherished grandmother of Justin Lehmann, Nick (Maggie) Jewell, Taylor (Jordan) Kuiper, Blake Jewell, Madison (Michael) Mulligan, Jake (and soon to be Kayla) AuBuchon. Proud great grandmother of Vivian, Rosemary, Charlotte, and Louis Jewell and Matthew Kuiper. Gene was a sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbor to many. She loved the Lord and was ready to enter into her eternal glory with those who’ve gone before her. We’re grateful for the many years she spent physically healthy, mentally strong and quick, and full of life. She worked for many years in the insurance industry and was blessed to be able to travel to many places around the world with family and friends. She was an avid reader, game player and puzzler as she always sought to keep her mind sharp. She set a great example in her later years for how to live life fully, without fear and with much joy.
