Jost, Patricia Louise (nee: Schulte)

June 2, 1938 - July 16, 2026

Patricia, born in St. Louis MO on June 2, 1938 the beloved daughter of William G. Schulte and Ottilia Helen Schulte (nee: Huegen), passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 16th at the age of 88. She was a beloved wife, step-mother, step-grandmother, step-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to her family and lasting friendships.

Patricia was first married to the late William Earl Walters in 1973 and together they shared 12 years before he passed. She later married William F. Jost in 1993, with whom she shared more than 25 wonderful years of love, companionship and cherished memories until his passing in 2019.

Patricia dedicated many years of her life to Pet Milk where her strong work ethic and dedication led her through a variety of positions across several departments. Through her hard work and commitment, she advanced to an administrative level before retiring. Retirement opened the door to one of life’s greatest joys for Patricia and her husband–traveling together.

They cherished the adventures they shared, creating countless memories and enjoying the time they spent exploring new places side by side.

A longtime resident of St. Louis MO, Patricia was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Whether watching from home or following every score, she rarely missed a game and could always be found enthusiastically cheering on her beloved Cardinals. Her love for baseball was just one of the many simple joys that brought her happiness and connected her with family and friends.

Patricia found great joy in spending time with her family, tending to her backyard garden, taking long walks with friends and playing golf when she had the chance. A devoted dog lover, Patricia adored her beloved dogs, who were faithful companions on many of her walks.

She is survived by many loving family members, Step-children, Step-grandchildren, Step-great grandchild, Nieces, Nephews, and friends.

Funeral From Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Saturday August 1, 9:45 AM to St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church, 3949 Wilmington Ave., St. Louis, MO 63116 for 10:30 AM Mass. Interment Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel on Friday, July 31, 6-8 PM.
