SERVICES: Private services by KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel.
My sincere condolences to the family. I knew Jim when we were really young. My brother and Jim were best friends. Jim was in love with me before going into the service. To this day I still have the letters he wrote to me. I actually spent a little time with Jim a few years ago. May he rest in peace.

I am shocked and saddened by Jim’s passing! He was a very kind man and so close to GOD. RIP Jim, you will never be forgotten and will be sadly missed

It’s almost a year later and I still think about Jim almost every day. We were very young when we got married. I was only 17 and he was 21. We had our first daughter soon after and our second daughter in 1977. We lost touch for quite some time and he was thrilled when we finally reunited and he was so happy to be involved with his daughters and our grandkids. He didn’t have any surviving relatives on his side so we were the only family he had. He loved our get togethers especially during the holidays and became a born again Christian and I’m so happy that he found happiness before he died . He sure did love his kids and grandkids and myself and him remained close up until the Lord took him home. We all miss you terribly Jim. You will always be in our hearts and never forgotten
