Mary “Babe” Lucille Joyce (nee Roussan) 100, of St. Louis, MO., entered into rest on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Mari De Villa Retirement Center in Town & Country, Mo. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Joyce Jr. for over 74 years; cherished daughter of the late Wilford and Edna Roussan; loving sister of the late Shirley (Tom) Lanham and the late Wilford Roussan Jr.; devoted mother of the late Gordon (Dene) Joyce.
Aunt Babe’s greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She was a loyal Cardinals baseball fan, enjoyed gardening and was active in the Crestwood Bowling League until 90.
Surviving are her beloved nephews Gary (Mary) Shafer of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and their daughter Laura and Greg (Karen) Shafer of Chesterfield, Missouri and their sons, Chris and Jon Shafer.
Graveside service on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Sunset Cemetery (10180 Gravois Rd. 63123) at 12 noon. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date with details to follow.
